ProbeMatchDB 2.0 provides convenient gateway for researchers to search for microarray probes, clones, proteins, or genes on cross-platform and/or cross species basis, which is enabled by the UniGene and HomoloGene databases.

If you have a list of IDs, you can select corresponding species, source type, ID type etc in Source section, and then choose the desired species, type, ID type that you are searching for in Target section.

Source/Target Species:

Species type pertinent to your source/target IDs

Source/Target Category and Type:

Type or your source/target IDs, for examples of such ID types, visit Sample Input

Affymetrix Probeset IDs:

Probeset IDs for Affymetrix platform, including those custom CDF

cDNA Array Clone IDs:

Clone IDs from Research Genetics, LION, BMAP, NIA

Nucleotide, Protein, or SAGE IDs:

Nucleotide Accession Numbers, Protein identifiers from various sources, SAGE sequence tag

Gene IDs:

UniGene IDs, NCBI Gene(Locuslink) IDs, ENSEMBL stable gene IDs, NCBI exon IDs, and ENSEMBL exon IDs

Sort Output Result By:

This option enables you to sort your output by either the order of your input, the UniGene ID of your input, the ID of your output, or UniGene ID of your output

Sample Input:

You can paste directly a list of IDs in delimited format. Please not IDs are case-sensitive in ProbeMatchDB. For examples, 36836_AT is not the same as 36836_at. Similarly, only Hs.438064 will constitute valid input, but HS.438064 will not return anything.

Sample list is also provided.

CDF Type:

Type of Affymetrix chip definition file (CDF). If you are not sure what it is, please select “Affymetrix Original” and the default version. If you are interested in learning more about other CDF type, please visit Custom CDF on our website.

Note: Version 1 is no longer available since it's more than 10 builds away from current UniGene release.
